Almost nothing about you reaches us, and this page says exactly what does.

What is collected
Two things, and only two. Aggregate page analytics — which pages are viewed, from which country, on which kind of device — through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not follow you between sites. And the ordinary request information any web server receives, including your IP address, which Cloudflare uses to serve the page and to block abuse.
What is not collected
Your income, your debts, your savings, the price of the house you are considering, and every other figure you enter. Those are held in your browser's own local storage, read only by this site running on your own device, and never transmitted anywhere. There is no account, no sign-in, no email address and no server-side record of you. Clearing your browser data deletes them permanently, and nobody — including us — holds a copy.
Why, and by what means
The analytics exist to show which tools are used and which are ignored, so that work goes to the pages people actually reach. They are collected automatically when a page loads, by a script served from Cloudflare. Nothing is collected for advertising. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with a data broker.
Who receives it
Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts this site and provides its analytics. No one else. There is no advertising network, no tag manager, no social pixel and no third-party script other than Cloudflare's analytics beacon.
It is processed outside Quebec
Cloudflare is based in the United States and runs a global network, so the request information described above is processed outside Quebec and may be processed outside Canada, where it may be subject to another jurisdiction's laws. This is disclosed because Quebec law requires it to be. It is true of the analytics; it is not true of anything you type into a calculator, which never leaves your device.
Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and withdraw your consent to its collection. In practice we hold nothing that identifies you, so the honest answer to most such requests is that there is nothing to produce — but ask, and you will have that answer in writing within 30 days. To stop the analytics outright, any browser content blocker will do it, and the site works identically without them.

How long it is kept
Cloudflare's analytics are aggregated and retained on their schedule; we keep no raw log of your visit. Your calculator inputs persist in your browser until you clear them. Any personal information we do come to hold is destroyed or anonymised once the purpose it was collected for is fulfilled.
If something goes wrong
We keep a register of confidentiality incidents. Where an incident presents a risk of serious injury we will notify the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec and the people affected, and where the federal threshold of a real risk of significant harm is met, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
